RealityExtract: Optional Cloud OCR for Maximum Accuracy

RealityExtract has always been built around on-device OCR — fast, private, and fully offline. But some displays are genuinely hard to read: tiny decimal points on LED panels, faded LCD segments, or unusual fonts. What’s new: - Cloud Vision Mode: An optional, opt-in mode that sends cropped display images to Google Cloud Vision for enhanced accuracy. You choose when to enable it — per tag, per session, or not at all. - Privacy by Design: Cloud Vision is off by default. When enabled, only the cropped value region is sent — never the full camera frame. No images are stored on our servers. - Hybrid Processing: You can mix on-device and cloud OCR within the same session. Use cloud mode for the tricky displays and local mode for everything else. - Accuracy Comparison: A new debug view lets you compare on-device and cloud results side by side, so you can make informed decisions about which mode to use. Available on iOS and Android. Cloud Vision usage is included in the premium tier.
