We’ve rebuilt WarrantyMate’s receipt scanning from the ground up, and the results speak for themselves. What’s new: - AI-Powered Extraction: The new scanning engine uses a combination of OCR and AI to identify product names, prices, purchase dates, and barcodes from receipts — even when they’re crumpled, faded, or partially obscured. - UPC & Barcode Recognition: WarrantyMate now reads UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, and EAN-8 barcodes directly from receipt images, enabling precise product identification. - SKU & Model Detection: The AI extracts SKU numbers and model identifiers from receipt line items, which dramatically improves warranty lookup accuracy. - Multi-Source Warranty Lookup: Product information is cross-referenced across cached results, barcode databases, AI analysis, and web sources to find the most accurate warranty details. - Faster Processing: Receipt scanning is now 3x faster on average, with results appearing in seconds rather than waiting for a full analysis cycle.
